This item covers the painting of the inlays in your headlights by us.
Process:
- After purchase, we will contact you to arrange an appointment
- You send us your headlights or bring them to us in person
- We open, paint and reseal the headlights (the headlights are as watertight as before!)
- We only send them back after receipt of payment
- 2-year statutory warranty on watertightness and durability of the paint
Painting details:
- Free choice of colour for an additional charge (simply provide us with the desired colour or paint code)
- All parts or only individual parts can be painted
- Logos can be added as stickers if these are provided to us
- Further modifications on request...
- As part of the painting process, we also recommend replacing the headlight lenses
- This makes the appearance of the paintwork stand out significantly better
Headlights are part of the crumple zone, which is why many headlight housings are manufactured in such a way that they break and absorb energy in the event of mechanical impact.
The breaking behaviour also depends on the brand, model, type of plastic, age of the headlight, operating hours, etc.
In some cases, even we are unable to open headlights without causing damage to the outer sealing lip (cracks/breaks/pressure marks). At the end of the work, these are reassembled as well as possible and "retouched" so that any possible damage is not immediately noticeable. Such damage cannot be claimed as a defect, as we cannot circumvent the housing characteristics specified by the manufacturer.
